An 'illuminating' piece of information! :)

Aurora has some spectacular sunrises, which is one of the reasons I’m sure the founding fathers of the community decided to name the city after the Roman goddess, Aurora, goddess of the dawn. Another 'light' making fact is that in 1881 Aurora received national prominence when it was the first city in the United States to use electric lights to light up the city’s street; hence, Aurora adopted its slogan as the "City of Lights".

I thought I had already posted on the watertowers, but I must have been dreaming. They were beautiful, and so are the pictures or Aurora. I can hardly wait until the fall when I can come and visit you and see Baby Mohr. Love you and can hardly wait to come and see so many new things in Chicago area. Dad and I had always planned that we would go there together and see his many sights.
